About the Yaloak South Sustainable Community Fund Pacific Blue’s Yaloak South Sustainable Community Fund shares the benefits of Yaloak South Wind Farm with the surrounding communities, providing long-lasting social, economic and environmental value that goes beyond the life of the wind farm. Since the commissioning of Yaloak South Wind Farm in 2017, the Fund has provided more than $150,000 to 31 local sustainable projects. The Yaloak Sustainable Communities Fund now operates on a biannual model, which means eligible community groups and not-for-profit organisations are encouraged to apply for project funding from a pool of $62,000 every second year. With the doubling of grant funds, we have also removed the $10,000 cap to provide opportunities for community organisations to partner and work together on projects that deliver greater community impact. The Yaloak South Sustainable Community Fund is open to community groups and not-for-profit organisations that serve: Beremboke Glenmore Mount Wallace Rowsey Organisations and projects do not necessarily need to be based in the fund area, but the proposed projects must operate in, and provide benefit to these communities to be eligible.
